Call for tenders on ‘Advancing Aggregate Exposure to Chemicals in EU’

EFSA has just launched an open call for tenders for ‘Developing a roadmap for action on Advancing Aggregate Exposure to Chemicals in EU’ (OC/EFSA/ED/2022/04). The deadline for submission is November 22nd, 2022. The dedicated budget is €500.000.
The aim of this procurement is to develop a roadmap for action (i.e., strategic planning document that outlines the current status of an issue, data gaps, barriers, cooperation opportunities and that prioritises strategies necessary for achieving a given vision) in the area of aggregate exposure to chemicals, defined as exposure to one chemical via different sources (e.g. air, soil, diet, consumer products) and via different routes (oral, dermal and inhalation). Call for expression of interest to become a member of “EFSA Technical Group on the Tools related to the application of the Transparency Regulation (TG TOOLS)”
Deadline: September 16th, 2022
EFSA is establishing a new Technical Group on the TOOLS related to the application of the Transparency Regulation (TG TOOLS). In establishing this dedicated forum for technical exchanges on the use of the tools, EFSA would like to create a channel to exchange and share feedback. For further information on the objectives of the Technical Group and the Terms of Reference, please send us an e-mail at NVWAEFSAFocalPoint@nvwa.nl. The newly created Risk Assessment Logistic (RAL) Unit is on the lead for TOOLS Technical Group.
To the purpose of creating such Technical Group we are launching a call for expression of interest. The deadline to express interest for being a member of the EFSA TG TOOLS is 16 September 2022. The EFSA TG TOOLS will be active from October 2022 to October 2024, with a kick-off meeting in mid-October 2022.
