Reminder: Call for expressions of interest to submit data for 10 non-approved active substances to review MRLs

Deadline: May 7th, 2024

We would like to remind you that EFSA has launched a call for expressions of interest to submit data for 10 non-approved active substances to review MRLs. The overall objective of this call is to provide additional existing toxicological data not considered in the targeted reviews and addressing the data gaps identified. Only studies finalised by the date of launch of this call of interest and complying with existing data requirements, will be considered eligible for the assessment.

Stakeholder meeting on the protection of Equidae: horses, donkeys and their hybrids

June 19th, 2024, Brussels, Belgium

EFSA is organising a Stakeholder meeting on the protection of Equidae. The event is intended to set the scene for an open and regular dialogue between EFSA and stakeholders from the early stages of the risk assessment. Stakeholders will have the opportunity to learn about EFSA’s work on animal welfare and to engage in a technical discussion on the challenges and opportunities around this mandate, focusing on the available data and data sources that will inform EFSA's scientific advice.

The meeting will take place in Brussels on June 19th, from 9:00 to 12:00 (CEST). The event is addressed to stakeholders with expertise and an interest in the topic. To ensure effective dialogue, participation is limited to a maximum of 60 participants. More information can be found on the EFSA website.
